I am working with BTMG and was asked a question I was hoping you might be able to answer.

When importing CED's how does the system know that the data being imported is being imported to the correct patient?  Are there certain data elements (name, DOB, SS #, etc) that need to match for the data to go through?  When the documents are imported, is there a way to track who imported the data?

It appears that when importing manually, there is built-in error checking to ensure that the demographics match:

I ran a SQL-profiler trace to determine the matching logic used and found that Options 1, 6, 7, 9 and 10 are utilized – see the patient matching wiki article: http://wiki.galenhealthcare.com/Patient ... g_Criteria

In terms of auditing of which user imported the data, the imported CCR shows in the chart associated to the user whom imported the CCR and also the day of import.
