Scripts With Same Name

From importing we have a few scripts that are in our script dropdown menu multiple times. Basically there are 2 scripts with the same name. I am trying to re-map my interfaces in order to get them all tied to the one script so that I can deactivate the unused script. However, we do not have reporting options in our current version of CxR. I know that if I change something in the script and then save it I will get a prompt with the interfaces tied to the script. I wanted to double check that it was returning all the interfaces when I save. I can pull just about everything except the actual mapping from sql. Is there any way to pull the mappings along with fields out of the sql tables that use the script in question?

Another issue is that I have a couple of scripts that when I make a change and save shows me interfaces this script is supposedly tied to, but when I look at the mappings I do not find that script anywhere in the interface. I don't know how to figure out what is going on here.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kim

Kim,

This is an old post, so you may have resolved this. I would suggest changing the names of the scripts that have duplicate names so you can easily identify them within the mappings.

Depending on which version of CxR you are running, you may not get an accurate report of the mappings that reference a specific script. There is a way to accurately report this from SQL. I don't have the exact SQL to perform this, but you can start by checking some of the stored procedures in the CxR database that reference "script" - spScriptUsage and spScriptUsedBy. These should shed some light on the logic required for identifying the mappings that reference a specific script.

Thanks,
