Patient Reg info in & out of Allscripts PM

Hello. Working with a group that has both an inbound patient registration interface into Allscripts PM (from inpatient system), then an outbound registration from Allscripts PM to Allscripts Enterprise EHR.

The issue that we are running into is that the import reg doesn't necessarily mirror the outbound. Idealistically speaking you would think if you sent 1000 reg messages into PM that you would get 1000 reg messages out. Not true. First required fields in PM get in the way, so if a field is not required in-patient and is in PM that message won't file through to the outbound feed. In other cases, there is no explanation that I can make any sense of.

In any case, I am trying to develop reports to be able to drill down to the patient level where a inbound reg occurs but a corresponding outbound does not trigger. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
